Turning machine filtration systems
These systems typically have a chip tray / chip conveyor for pre- filtration. The system houses a pump designed for suitable flow and pressure. The system has monitoring devices like level indicator, pressure sensor, pressure gauge etc. The feedback from the monitoring units is given to the CNC machine to ensure that the system is healthy.

Coolant filtration system for Machining centres
At LEX, we make plug and play coolant filtration systems and chillers for various European, Japanese and Indian HMCs and VMCs. These systems often have chip conveyors suitable for the application and material of chips, followed with finer filtration arrangements like Compact U Band Filter or Cartridge / Bag filters for coolant through spindle applications. These systems can be integrated with LEX chillers to deliver coolant at optimal temperature to the machine.

Grinding machine filtration systems
Depending upon the material of the component, material removal rate and level of filtration required, LEX TECHNOAID offers various types of filtration systems. The first stage of filtration in case of grinding of Ferrous materials is by a powerful Rare Earth Magnetic Drum Separator. These Magnetic Drum Separators remove a huge quantity of chips thereby reducing the load on consumable filters like Compact U Band Filters, bag/cartridge filters etc. Filtration level of up to 5 Microns can be provided with these systems. For non-ferrous materials, the filtration system typically comprises Compact U Band Filters for the first stage of filtration and Cartridge / Bag filters for second stage of filtration.

Coolant filtration system for Honing and Lapping machines
These systems are very similar in setup to grinding machine filtration systems. However, two or three stage filtration systems are provided for Honing to maintain critical filtration levels of upto 3 Microns. These systems are typically integrated with LEX chillers to maintain thermal stability of the cutting oil / coolant.

Gun Drilling filtration systems
These systems are used for deep-drilling applications where the L/D ratios are high. Systems are provided with special pumps to deliver up to 500 bar pressure. Servo controlled valves can be used to regulate coolant flow & pressure from the machine’s CNC system. LEX chillers can be integrated to maintain the required coolant temperature.
LEX Gun Drilling filtration systems offer the following salient features:
- Filtration level up to 5 microns can be provided
- Chiller removes the heat from coolant due to friction and cutting
- Programmable flow and pressure control eliminates manual intervention
